Nana and Auntie Jen' Visit

Nana and Auntie Jen came to visit Lily this past weekend! And they also tried to steal her as they were leaving, promising to send pictures of her every day and telling us we would be seeing her in almost a month... nice try! ; )

We had a very nice time and Lily really enjoyed spending time with Nana and Auntie Jen. They loved to hold her and feed her and change her and play with her clothes! We took a trip to the mall, Uncle John's Cider mill and went out for dinner. Nana and Auntie brought all kinds of clothes for Lily, including a fabulous Patriots Cheerleader outfit! We will miss all of their help and Lily will miss all of the cuddles and of course the songs sung by Auntie.

Lily's First Halloween

Lily's first Halloween had a lot of trick or treaters show up at the door but they were in large groups of little kids and then a bunch of teenagers not in costume looking for some free candy. We finally decided to just shut the door and turn out the light at 7:20 PM since most of them it seemed, were casing the house and commenting on how much they liked our TV and were checking out the stuff in our living room. Gotta love living on the edge of the ghetto. ; )


Next year we figure we will dress her up and take her out so we can reap the benefits of the candy. ha ha.

Lily's First Visitors!

So Nonie and Poppie came to visit us this past weekend arriving on Saturday and leaving just this morning. : (

Lily enjoyed spending quality time with nonie and poppie and mom and dad appreciated all the help! We went out for breakfast on Sunday and little Lily slept right through the whole thing. (Thank Goodness!) We watched the Red Sox win the world series (with Lily's help) and even took a trip to the bigger mall out here. (although she did require some snacks while at the mall)
Today is mom's first day alone with Lily and as I type this, she is fast asleep in her little swing. It will be hard not having nonie and poppie here to hold her, feed her or change her while I am trying to do something else... Guess I am going to have to bribe Dewey to pitch in.

Already a Red Sox Fan
